World Cup: Henderson Urges England Stars to Embrace Florida Heat Ahead of World Cup

England midfielder Jordan Henderson has called on his teammates to fully embrace the challenging weather conditions in Florida as they prepare for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in the United States.

The veteran midfielder believes exposing themselves to the sweltering temperatures will help the squad acclimatise ahead of what is expected to be a physically demanding tournament. England have chosen to base their preparations in Florida, where temperatures regularly exceed 30°C, to aid their adaptation.

Speaking after the team’s arrival in West Palm Beach, Henderson stressed the importance of getting used to the heat as quickly as possible. During England’s first training session on Tuesday, temperatures climbed to 32°C, providing an early taste of the conditions players could face during the tournament.

Most of Thomas Tuchel’s squad have already linked up in the United States, although several players, including Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, are expected to join the camp later this week.

Set to feature in his seventh major international tournament, Henderson believes England’s ability to handle the extreme weather could prove crucial to their chances of success on the world stage.
