Vinícius Jr Breaks Silence on Real Madrid Contract Talks
Real Madrid superstar Vinícius Jr has eased speculation surrounding his future at the club, insisting there is no urgency to renew his contract despite ongoing discussions over a new deal.
The Brazilian winger, whose current contract runs until 2027, revealed that both parties remain calm as negotiations continue behind the scenes.
“I’m in no rush to renew my contract,” Vinícius said. “I have a contract until 2027. So, until 2027, we have a lot to discuss with Madrid, and Madrid has a lot to discuss with us.”
The 25-year-old also stressed the strong relationship he shares with the club hierarchy, particularly Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez.
“Madrid is calm, I’m calm,” he added. “The president trusts me, and I trust him.”
Vinícius remains one of Real Madrid’s most important players and a key figure in the club’s long-term project, with Los Blancos expected to continue talks over an improved contract in the coming months.
Despite growing transfer speculation in recent months, the Brazilian’s latest comments suggest there is currently no tension between player and club regarding his future at the Santiago Bernabéu.
