Andy Robertson Agrees Tottenham Move Despite Juventus Interest

Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signing of Liverpool defender Andy Robertson after the Scotland international reportedly agreed to join the North London club despite late interest from Juventus.

Robertson has verbally accepted Tottenham’s proposal, with the deal now expected to be finalised in the coming days as Spurs move quickly to complete the transfer.

Juventus attempted to hijack the move with a late approach, but Tottenham remained confident of securing the experienced left-back, having maintained strong interest in him since January.

A move to Spurs was already close earlier this year before negotiations collapsed at the final stages, but the Premier League side reignited talks and are now set to land their long-term target.

The transfer has also reportedly received the approval of Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi, who views Robertson as a key addition to strengthen his defensive options ahead of the new season.

Robertson is expected to bring leadership, experience, and winning mentality to Spurs following a highly successful spell at Liverpool, where he established himself as one of the Premier League’s top full-backs.

Tottenham fans will now be eagerly awaiting the official announcement as “Robbo” edges closer to completing his switch to North London.
