BREAKING: Mali Set to Appoint Florent Ibenge as New Head Coach

The Mali Football Federation has reportedly reached an agreement to appoint experienced Congolese tactician Florent Ibenge as the new head coach of the national team.

Ibenge is expected to leave Tanzanian side Azam FC to take over the Eagles as Mali continue preparations for upcoming international competitions.

The highly respected coach brings a wealth of experience to the role, having built a strong reputation across African football through successful spells with several top clubs and national teams.

Ibenge previously guided RS Berkane to CAF Confederation Cup glory and also enjoyed memorable stints with DR Congo giants Vita Club and Sudanese powerhouse Al Hilal.

Known for his tactical discipline and ability to build competitive teams, Ibenge is widely viewed as a major appointment for Mali as the federation aims to strengthen the national team’s competitiveness on the continental and global stage.
