Transfer Update: Premier League Clubs Circle Super Eagles Midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi

Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi has reportedly attracted interest from two Premier League clubs this summer, but the Nigerian is understood to be keen on remaining at Olympique Marseille and fighting for his place ahead of the new season.

The 22-year-old joined the French giants from Belgian side Zulte Waregem in February on a four-year deal and wasted little time making an impression.

Despite arriving midway through the campaign, Nnadi forced his way into Habib Beye’s plans, making eight Ligue 1 appearances, including four starts, and registering one assist as Marseille secured a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

His rapid adaptation to life in Ligue 1 has not gone unnoticed, with reports suggesting that a pair of English top-flight clubs are monitoring his situation. However, the midfielder is believed to favour staying at the Stade VĂ©lodrome, where he hopes to cement his place in one of France’s strongest squads.

Nnadi’s growing reputation has also been boosted by his recent performances for Nigeria. After earning increased responsibility with the Super Eagles, the energetic midfielder impressed in the recent international friendlies against Poland and Portugal, producing composed displays that showcased his ball-winning ability, tactical discipline and composure in possession.

Those performances have further enhanced his profile across Europe, with the former Zulte Waregem star increasingly viewed as one of Nigeria’s brightest young midfield prospects.

While Premier League interest is expected to remain strong throughout the transfer window, Nnadi appears determined to continue his development at Marseille before considering his next career move.
