It is a black Tuesday in Nigerian Football as 20-year-old footballer Paul Julius, who  joined Enosis Neon Paralimni (ENP FC) of cyprus just three weeks ago tragically passed away following a car accident in Protaras, Famagusta District,in Cyprus.

The promising youngster who was eager to make his mark in Cyprus has sadly had his dreams cut short by the tragic  accident, that has left the footballing community in deep mourning.

In a press statement released by the club (ENP FC) they emotionally wrote;

“It is with deep sadness and pain that we express our sincere condolences on the unexpected loss of our footballer Paul Julius. The tragic news of his death has shocked us all. Despite the hardships and sufferings he faced to join our family, he remained steadfast and determined to fulfill his goals. His memory will live on in our hearts, and his absence will be felt. We are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.”

Also,other football clubs has joined in mourning the young footballer.

“APOEL FOOTBALL (PODOSFAIRO) LTD expresses its deepest condolences to the family of ENP and the relatives of football player Paul Julius who was killed in a car accident this morning. He was only 20 years old…His memory is eternal,” the club wrote.
