Double Managerial Shake-Up in Turkey: Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe Dismiss Solskjær and Mourinho

Turkish football has been rocked by two high-profile dismissals within 24 hours, as Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe both parted company with their head coaches following European setbacks.
Beşiktaş acted first, announcing the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjær after the club failed to book their place in the UEFA Conference League. The Norwegian, appointed with hopes of restoring the Black Eagles’ stature in Europe, could not survive the early disappointment, cutting his tenure short.
Fenerbahçe followed with a shock of their own, relieving José Mourinho of his duties after their elimination from the UEFA Champions League qualifiers. The Portuguese tactician, unveiled to much fanfare earlier in the summer, was unable to deliver the European breakthrough the Istanbul side had been counting on.
