The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) leadership confirmed earlier this week that former Sweden coach Janne Anderson will be taking over as the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Janne Anderson who is set to be appointed as the head coach of the Super Eagles, will reportedly miss their opening qualifiying matches for AFCON 2025 due to a contractual obligation with a media company which will run out in September,after which he will be able to take full charge of the Super Eagles for the remaining AFCON qualifiers in October and November.
Reports reaching us at naija sports is that his two assistant coaches from Sweden along with NFF technical director Augustine Eguavoen will call the shots for the matches against Benin and Rwanda next month.
