The senior national team of Nigeria will take on cameroon side Coton Sport in a friendly game ahead of their first game at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations against Egypt on the 11th of January.
Interim coach of the Nigerian team Austine Eguavoen will use the game to fine tune preparations with an idea on how players will react to his methods as he hasn’t handled them in any game before.
After less than three days training with his his full squad, it’s easy to see how the coach intends to use the players at his disposal plus the likely formation from what we witnessed at their training session,
Eguavoen will likely line up the players in a 4-2-3-1 Formation with Sadiq Umar and Chidera Ejuke coming into the team in attack and midfield respectively.
