San Diego Wave has officially signed Nigerian forward Chiamaka Okwuchukwu on a one-year deal. The 19-year-old joins the NWSL club from Rivers Angels, a top team in the Nigerian Women’s Football League (NWFL).

Okwuchukwu gained recognition in the NWFL for her exceptional pace, technical prowess, and goal-scoring abilities, making her one of the league’s rising stars.
