Top football sources within the leadership of the NFF have revealed that they have received a letter, almost sort of a query, from the Federal Ministry of Youth & Sports to provide an explanation for the failure of the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
In a letter addressed to the football house, the Ministry also invited the NFF for an emergency meeting on Monday.
It does appear that the Presidency are interested in the matter and could be present at the meeting.
