Samson Tijani Joins Czech Side Dukla Prague on a Free Transfer

Nigerian midfielder and former Golden Eaglets captain, Samson Tijani, has completed a move to Czech top-flight club Dukla Prague. The 23-year-old joins as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Austrian Bundesliga side, Red Bull Salzburg.
Tijani, who rose to prominence as captain of Nigeria’s U17 national team, has penned a three-year deal with Dukla Prague. The move marks a new chapter in his career as he seeks to establish himself in the Czech First League.
Speaking after his unveiling, Tijani emphasized his focus on personal development and consistent performance. “The move to Dukla is an important step for me. At this stage of my career, I want to focus on growth, development, and consistently proving my qualities,” he said.
